Google scraper and API skills

Google Flights has no public API — QPX Express was retired in 2018 and nothing replaced it — and the Custom Search JSON API does not return itinerary pricing or company-registration pages. These Google scraper skills read those surfaces directly through the Browserless MCP.
Working with Google
- Flight search goes straight to /travel/flights with a natural-language q parameter; the homepage and form typing are unnecessary.
- f19 is the trip-type field, not f2 — a one-way search needs f19=2 or Google renders round-trip fares.
- Default sort is Best, not cheapest, so cheapest-itinerary results are sorted explicitly.

Google scraping questions
- Does Google have an API?
- Not for these surfaces. Google publishes many APIs, but Flights pricing has had none since QPX Express was retired in 2018, and company registration details are not exposed by any of them.
- Is scraping Google legal?
- Reading data that Google publishes publicly is generally treated as lawful in the US — hiQ v. LinkedIn found that scraping a public site does not by itself violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. That is not the whole question: Google's terms of service, its robots.txt, the rate at which you request pages, and any personal or copyrighted data you collect all carry their own obligations, and the rules differ outside the US. These skills read public pages at human-scale rates and never bypass a login. Treat this as background, not legal advice.
- What data can I extract from Google?
- One-way and round-trip fares with airline, duration and stop count; and for company lookups, legal entity name and registered address with the source page.
